Alan is a California Teacher of the year award winner who has written 22 books. He left the classroom and started Mastery Coding because he sees the opportunity for students to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty by obtaining jobs in emerging technologies.

Richie was the creator and captain of his champion college esports team. At Mastery coding he authored the Game Design curriculum and built the Academic Esports program he wishes he had when he was in middle and high school.
Ben Pousada
Academic Esports Curriculum Developer
Ben comes right out of the classroom with experience as a computer science teacher and a math teacher. Ben first joined us as a Fortnite coach and has since become an esports curriculum developer.
