High School CTE Alignments

AZ Software and App Design Pathway

Mastery Coding has developed a 4-year course sequence solution to fully support the 11.0202.00 Arizona Software and App Design pathway utilizing the following courses:

  • MC-AZ Software and App Design I (CIP Code: 11.0202.13)
  • MC-AZ Software and App Design II (CIP Code: 11.0202.40)
  • MC-AZ Software and App Design III (CIP Code: 11.0202.45)
  • MC-AZ Software and App Design IV (CIp Code: 11.0202.49)

These courses incorporate following the ADE standards preparing students to apply scripting languages such as JavaScript in program writing, program customization, internet protocols and operations, program analysis, as well as, other aspects of operating systems and application design. Industry standards are used in all Mastery Coding courses providing real world programming experience for students in the following:

  • Logic, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving
  • Beginning Application Development (Coding)
  • Advanced Application Development (Database, Files, Security, Storage)
  • Program Analysis and Design
  • Programming Fundamentals and Syntax
  • Leadership and Teamwork


When students complete this pathway, they will be prepared to attain the following industry-recognized certifications.
